“Feel&Function Collection” acts as a self-portrait for the hardships and yearning that presented themselves in 2020’s covid-19 pandemic. Isolating that hand gestures from all of their camera roll pictures from 2020, the artist designed the objects informed my the shapes various gestures made. Hands are among the most important tools of our bodies. They are used as learning tools, like counting on fingers, gripping pencils to write and draw, communicating through gestures, and so much more. Hands are so much like domestic objects. They function and show age and scars, much like one’s beloved mug or favorite chair shows wear and lost battles with time and use.
