“Sensory Anxiety Reducer” is a speculative design of a futuristic tool meant to aid students that get exam anxiety. Schools enforce a silent and tense environment for test-taking, which can be very unnerving for some students, causing them to focus more on their sensory experiences than their exam. In an effort to make students more comfortable and reduce sensory distractions, like the seemingly deafening sounds of turning papers and erasing or the defeating sight someone farther along in the test or finished with it, this object cups the ears to muffle outside sounds and shields the eyes to eliminate peripheral vision.
